Databases

The Fairport Public Library has access to numerous databases, covering topics such as health, business, news, and the sciences. Many of these can be accessed from home by using your Monroe County Library System card.

Magazines

Did you know the Fairport Public Library subscribes to [x number] magazines? Come browse the selection in our Periodical room, our Small Business Resource Center, our Children's room and our Teen area. The current issue of a magazine does not circulate, so you can always find it on the shelf. Earlier issues are available to check out for three weeks. Stop in and see what we have!

Newspapers

The Democrat and Chronicle, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Daily Record. These are just some of the newspapers you'll find at the Fairport Public Library.

Books

You always knew you could get books at the library. But did you know that you also have access to books from colleges and universities all over the Northeast? Through our Interlibrary Loan System, we can track down items that are outside of our system. There is a $5 fee for this service, payable prior to the search.
