Svetlana Chmakova
From Svetlana's Website:
Svetlana was born and raised in Russia, and came to Canada at the tender age of 16. She finished high school there, then graduated Sheridan College with a three-year Classical Animation Diploma and is currently a freelance artist, as well as the fledging North American equivalent of a manga-ka. She has been in a love-hate relationship with comics and manga for several years now because she is too weak to break it off.

Svetlana has drawn for how-to-draw-manga books, RPG manuals, toy designs, animation, book covers and a bunch of online comics. She is an accomlished flake and has no attention span which makes writing coherent bios quite a challenge.

Hobbies include: sleeping and reading more comics than is healthy for her wallet. Also, sometimes, eating.

Svetlana's appearance at TBF LIVE! is made possible by TOKYOPOP.

                                                                                  Dramacon Volume 1 and 2
Dramacon is a romantic dramedy about a romance that blooms over the course of several years at an anime convention.

Christie is a budding writer who is attending an anime convention for the first time in her life. She and her artist boyfriend, Derek, get a table in the artist alley to promote a self-published ashcan comic that she wrote and he drew.

Derek is a little too taken with the attention all the female cosplayers are paying him, which upsets Christie and forces her to deal with the player side of Derek that she had ignored up until now. Things quickly become more complicated, especially after she bumps into Matt, a handsome -- but shy -- cosplayer.
